We are happy to welcome Filip Gottfridsson as our new Project Manager for SEALER-E. Filip has a lot of experience in the nuclear industry. He started his career at Vattenfall Power Consultant working at the Forsmark Power Plant, before relocating to the UK to work with their nuclear new build program at Horizon Nuclear Power. Besides that, he supported the project team of GE Hitachi Nuclear in Japan, and was a consultant for AFRY and now Berotec. Filip holds a degree in Engineering Physics from Uppsala University.
Filip comments: “I have been interested in the future of nuclear power and the generation 4 concepts ever since I did my master’s thesis. I want to contribute and realize the innovative nuclear power technology that is now being developed, and I believe Blykalla has a fascinating lead-cooled reactor concept which could put Sweden back on top globally for innovative nuclear solutions. This is a journey I’ve dreamt to be a part of, and I’m very happy to get the chance to work with the Blykalla team to make it come true.”
Filip joined the company as of November 2023.
