We are happy to announce that Fady Ishaq has joined the Blykalla team as our new Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Simulation Specialist. With his extensive experience and expertise, Fady will play a crucial role in supporting our design team in the development of our advanced SMR technology.
Fady holds a Master's degree in Physics from Chalmers University of Technology, providing a solid foundation for addressing the complex thermal-hydraulic challenges we face in advanced reactor design.
With an impressive 20-year career in consulting, Fady has honed his skills in applying CFD simulations across diverse industries. Throughout his career, Fady has held key positions at renowned companies including Volvo Technology, AFRY, FS Dynamics, and most recently, Berotec. His expertise has been sought after by industry leaders such as Volvo AB, Scania, Ericsson, Atlas Copco, Electrolux, and Westinghouse. This broad experience across automotive, telecommunications, industrial equipment, and energy sectors will be invaluable as we optimize the fluid dynamics and heat transfer processes in our SEALER design.
On joining Blykalla, Fady shared his enthusiasm: "It's inspiring and exciting to be part of this journey to develop the next generation of nuclear power technology to tackle one of the greatest challenges of our time. In his role at Blykalla, Fady will primarily conduct detailed simulations to support our designers in optimizing critical components of our reactor core, heat exchangers, and coolant systems. His expertise will be instrumental in ensuring our SEALER meet the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and performance under various operational conditions. Fady's extensive background in simulations across various sectors brings a valuable and fresh perspective to our team. His proven track record and diverse industry experience will be crucial in our mission to develop safe, reliable, and innovative SMR solutions that can be deployed to address global energy challenges.
